Shriners Children's
THE MOST AMAZING CARE. ANYWHERE.
Shriners International founded Shriners Children's as its official philanthropy in 1922. The organization, which began as one hospital, is now a world-renowned health care system with locations in three countries. The fraternity continues to support this unique health care system.
Our members are part owners of the hospital system and key contributors towards improving the lives of children across the world. At Kena Shriners we are focused on raising funds and providing support for Shriners Children's Philadelphia. Our Kena Shepherds even transport patients from the Northern Virginia area to the hospital on a regular basis.
Shriners Children's is a unique health care system with a reputation for finding answers and giving families hope. At our locations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, children receive specialized care and rehabilitation for congenital and acquired orthopaedic conditions, acute burns, spinal cord injuries, cleft lip and cleft palate, and neuromusculoskeletal conditions and injuries, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.
Shriners Children's is committed to conducting high-quality, innovative research in the areas of burns, orthopaedic/musculoskeletal and neurological injury and disease in order to improve the care and quality of life of children with these conditions and challenges.
Since opening our first hospital in 1922, the health care system has improved the lives of more than 1.4 million children.
With locations in 22 cities and outreach clinics across the country, finding care is easy. If you know of a child that can use our help. Get in touch with us today.
