Kena Shrine Band
The Kena Shrine Band is made up of members who love to play music. In addition to playing at many Kena Shriners events and activities, the band regularly provides quality musical entertainment to members of senior organizations and residents of nursing care centers and assisted living facilities throughout the VA, MD, and DC area.
The Kena Shrine Band is a charter member of the temple. The band was organized and in existence prior to the activation of Kena Shriners as a part of ACCA Shriners (Richmond, Virginia) and as such is the second oldest unit of Kena.
Band rehearsals are the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Kena Shriners ballroom.
The Band plays, on average, 2 to 3 concerts every month in and around the Manassas area.
As the Band’s motto states; the Band supports the Shriners Children's by playing so that children can."
The Kena Shrine Band has no dues. We are actively seeking new members, so please come and join us!
